We stayed here as a stop before taking an early morning ferry across to calais. The location is superb, with great views of the harbour and only a five min drive down to the port. The hotel is clean and well decorated. The staff are very welcoming and polite. Parking is available across the road in the marine carpark and the hotel provides a permit, free of charge from the reception. There is also a spa located in the hotel, but I did not have time to experience it on this occassion, due to a short stay. My overall review 10/10 I would definately recommend this 4 star Hotel, if your needing an over night stay before an early morning departure. We stayed in a family room with a sea view, which had two doubles and a single bed. The beds are firm but comfy, with plenty of pillows. The room was spacious, clean and fresh. The T.V is a good size (compared to the majority of hotels I have stayed in) There's tea & Coffee facilities in the room. A choice of ambient lighting in the evenings to relax. The bathroom was immaculate, with great lighting/mirrors and lots of soap/shampoo/cream bottles. The large windows allow you to make the most of the views of Dover Harbour and the children loved watching the ferry's coming and going. There's a Marco pierre white, Mr whites English chophouse resturant situated in the hotel (open until 10pm) and also a wheelers fish & chips (Until 7pm). There's room srvise available too. And a bar located opposite the restaurant.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. I didn't use the facilities on offer, but there seemed to be many. The room was lovely and comfortable.

We had a very comfortable stay. Our room was very clean and quiet. The sea view was great. There was also an ironing set in the room.. we felt very grateful for that. The shower unit was very easy to use and we enjoyed having a shower. The breakfast was rich with options and everything was very tasty. We regretted we didn't have sports clothes with us to have a chance to try out the gym as well. Next time.. :)

I was surprised to see how low the hotel scored on booking.com. The room was very clean, brilliantly working AC, very comfy bed. The staff were always there and ready to help . The literally only and main let down, in my opinion, for the property is breakfast. Otherwise great location in Dover close to everything you need.

The Best Western Hotel is a well-known and respected chain of hotels that has a reputation for providing excellent service and hospitality. During my recent stay at the Best Western Hotel, I had the pleasure of interacting with a staff member named Mayur, who truly went beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable and enjoyable. From the moment I checked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and friendly nature. He quickly checked me in and during night when i came down took the time to explain all of the amenities and features of the hotel to me. Throughout my stay, He was always available to answer any questions I had and to provide recommendations for things to do and see in the area. One of the things that stood out to me about Mayur was his behaviour towards me. He noticed the purpose of my trip without me even having to say it, and he made sure to provide me with all of the necessary information and accommodations to make my stay comfortable. Whether it was ensuring that my room was located in a quiet area of the hotel or providing me with extra towels and pillows. The location of a hotel can make a big difference in the overall experience of a guest, and the Best Western Hotel certainly did not disappoint in this regard. Located in a picturesque area, the hotel was surrounded by breathtaking scenery and stunning natural beauty. One of the highlights of my stay at the Best Western Hotel was watching the sunrise in the morning. In addition to the stunning sunrises, the location of the hotel also provided easy access to a variety of outdoor activities and attractions. Whether I was exploring nearby hiking trails or simply taking a leisurely stroll through the surrounding countryside, there was always something to see and do. If you ask my overall experience. I would highly recommend the Best Western Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff, particularly Mayur, truly made my experience one to remember, and I would not hesitate to book

we only stayed one night to catch early le shuttle . it is very old building, beautiful architecture, but the room are very modern and comfortable. bathroom has very good shower and all looks very new. clean. comfortable bed and we had a sea view room - beautiful sunrise to set your day in the right mood. The pier and embankment has been recently re-done. great walk before bed. nice view to the Dover castle. it has a gym and spa but we did not have time so cannot comment.

when i got to the hotel i requested a room on a lower floor as i don't use lifts- they did not make a fuss and offered me the family room 101 and it was lovely huge with one big double bed and one double sofa- sadly it did not have a sea view but it was all that was available and it was very large clean and comfortable
